Help please!

hi there...

I was thinking about getting this game but should I get it or not? I have had every virsion NFS game. My favourites have been Most Wanted and Carbon and this looks more similar to them. But i have watched reviews from IGN and GT(Game Trailers) and they said it was rubbish and have rated it worse than Pro Street but i can't see how. I have played a bit of the game in a GAME shop and i liked it but didn't really do much game play as i only got to do one race and a bit of free roaming. So what should I do, buy it or give it a miss. Thank you in advance!
